OnDemand Driver

UTS OnDemand Drivers operate UVA’s late-night van shuttle service and provide transportation to students, faculty, and staff. Duties include operating OnDemand vans on an overnight schedule. Other duties may be assigned to support Parking and Transportation operations. Strong customer service skills are necessary. Selected candidates will be required to be able to drive any/all vans and support vehicles in the fleet. This position is currently only available on a part-time basis to full-time UVA students.  

Transit Bus Driver

University Transit Service (UTS) at the University of Virginia's Department of Parking and Transportation is searching for reliable Transit Bus Drivers. Our drivers work within the University Transit Service to provide transportation services to the University of Virginia Community. Strong customer service skills are necessary.  Duties include the operation of a transit bus unit on a fixed route as well as transit operation in support of University-wide events. Selected candidates will be required to be able to drive any/all buses and support vehicles in the fleet. UTS is a historically student-driven transit system. Today, it is one of the most fun and flexible student jobs on Grounds and offers a unique community of other drivers

Parking Ambassador

Parking Ambassadors are UVA Parking & Transportation customer service reps out in the field. In this role, you will help patrons pay for parking through ParkMobile, assist with special events, direct traffic, and greet customers. At times, you may be expected to act as an enforcement officer or service crew technician. This position is part-time, Staff Wage, and limited to 1500 hours of work in a year.
